The School
In addition to Paris, if there is another city that has benefited from the perfume trade, it is Grasse. Why Grasse? Because its climate was considered ideal for growing the raw materials needed to create the finest perfumes. Over time, Grasse began to emerge as the capital of French perfumery. This city was also the birthplace of the famous French guild of perfumer-glovers in 1656, which used perfume made from the region’s natural essences to mask the smell of leather. As the tanning industry declined in Grasse, the perfume industry flourished.
Since 2018, students can study to become master perfumers on a modern campus of over 600 m² in the heart of the city. To ensure high-quality education, we have established partnerships with the city hall, Prodarom, ASFO Grasse, the National Union of Aromatic Product Manufacturers, and the professional training center for perfumery.
Just like our Paris campus, we offer an olfactory lab, a chemistry lab, and teaching rooms equipped to help you learn to use the essential tools of your trade (mass spectrometer, chromatograph, olfactometer, precision scale, etc.).
